Fair bit done up to today fuel pump, filter all piped in and fixed, starter and clutch slave fitted strangely had to ease the starter holes to rotate the starter slightly to get the solenoid away from the manifold down tube same manifold that came off perhaps it had been that way all along, then concentrated on the fuel rail rebuilt the injectors and there holding clamps put the pressure reg and all the nicely painted bits together and piped it all up. I have got to machine a new hose tail for the plenum water jacket below the butterfly as one was badly corroded so I have drilled them out and going to turn two new stainless items also turned up an adaptor and fitted nice little filter to the near side rocker cover, and have painted all the throttle linkage and brackets ready for the plenum.
Well hear is the finished article for my car finish is done in acrylic solid paint with a clear lacquer so should be hard wearing and repairable.

Quite a bit done in the last two days started by finishing the exhaust system all nicely bolted up with new gaskets etc. speedo cable routed and fitted both ends and have now started getting the fuel injection system serviced painted ready for fitting next week, all the injectors have been stripped cleaned and new filters and tips fitted together with new feed hose and all the fuel rail injector mounts all derusted primed and glossed. Also picked up the wheel centres from my powder coat specialist look amazing pics of them will be on the wheel centres thread tomorrow.
Back on the wedge in earnest for a little while, got the clutch on then discovered that the little blocks with a hole in that fit on the pegs on the clutch release arm are missing obviously been like it for some while as the pegs had worn into the carrier so I have had to machine up two new ones which slowed the process down a bit but all good now gearbox on new oil filled ready to drop in the car tomorrow.
